I highly recommend this series of English-Spanish Dual Language Hardy Boy books to any student of Spanish who has completed their fundamental, beginning grammar lessons. What a fun, simple and productive way to grow your vocabulary from there!
If the author translates more books in this Hardy Boy series into Dual Language versions, I won’t hesitate one iota to buy them! Wish I could only be fractionally successful with my Storybook Math books on Amazon but getting kids and their parents to focus on elementary math is quite the challenge. Just buy these Dual Language books instead!

This is a fun and helpful way to learn Spanish and/or English. Having a side-by-side translation while you solve a puzzling mystery with the Hardy Boys is very clever because you will learn Spanish or English depending on the language you want to learn. I find this book very helpful for beginners and will truly help you build your vocabulary. Overall, this is an excellent book and one I highly recommend for anyone that would like to learn or keep improving in either, Spanish or English.

As someone who once pursued a Spanish minor, I couldn’t help but wish that I had such a resource during my studies. Now, with this book in hand, I can revisit and strengthen my Spanish skills at my own pace and not worry about forgetting my Spanish. The alluring but haunting description of the house on the cliff and The Hardy Boys’ dynamics and chemistry pull you right in from the very beginning, making the process of learning Spanish less monotonous and overly technical. Whether you’re at an A2 or C1 level, this side-by-side translation offers a relaxed approach to expanding your language proficiency. The only thing is that I wished it had some illustrations. That would really make the Spanish stick in your head. But not illustrations that will take away its young adult appeal but that which could appeal to anyone, regardless of their age group. But overall, it’s a very useful companion for those seeking a more engaging path to mastering Spanish.
